Getting Around San Jose del Cabo and Los Cabos

Buses run between San Jose and Los Cabos frequently and are inexpensive. Our management service has 20 years of experience, and can assist you with your holiday tour choices.

We strongly recommend that you book an airport pick up and return using our property manager. We will give you details at time of booking.

Directions to our San Jose del Cabo Condo from Los Cabos International Airport(SJD)

By Car: Take the Main Highway leaving the airport to the right and follow the signs to San Jose del Cabo taking the Transpeninsular Hwy 1 south. Travel approximately 7 miles and turn left towards the hotel zone and San Jose del Cabo via the traffic circle at the large yellow monumental structure (you see the Mega Store on the left) on to Paseo del Los Cabos. At the very end make a left on to Paseo Malecon San Jose. Travel approximately 1/2 mile and take the second left, which is a small traffic circle, past the La Costa Condominiums sign. You will see the Hotel Crowne Plaza & Hotel Royal Solaris on your right side.

Once you turn left you will see one of the main golf greens to your left. Once at the end of the street, you will see the electronic gate on your left and this is where you enter the code # to enter.

Bus

For day trips to La Paz, the San Jose del Cabo bus station is just at the entrance of downtown on Valerio Gonzalez and has scheduled departures. They also go direct to Cabo San Lucas Bus Station but transportation will be required from the station to downtown Cabo San Lucas.

Q&A

1) How far to the airport is your condo? Our condo is 25 minutes away from the airport.

2) Can I drink the water? Although the water is purified by the city, the pipes used to transfer the water may not be the best. You can use the water for for washing and cooking, but we recommend you drink the fresh drinking water provided in the water cooler in each condo.

3) Do I bring food with me? Is there a grocery store nearby? Yes, you can go to the MEGA store, about five minutes by car. This store is well-stocked with all types of meat, vegetables, fruit, dry goods, and sundry items. Costco and Walmart are about 15 minutes by car towards Los Cabos. There is also a convenience store near Phase 1 in La Costa. Many condiments and items may already be in our condo.

4) What does your condo have for amenities? We provide some soap, shampoo, toothpaste and towels.

5) Are there DVDs available nearby? We have included a small number of DVD with the condo but suggest you bring some of you own. Please remember that we have movie channels with Star Choice. HBO 625, Movie Central 1 622, Movie Central 2 623, Movie Central 3 624, AMC channel 629, and Independent Film Channel 614.

7) Is there a pool close to your condo? Yes, so close that you can look out your balcony and see the pool and palm trees right out front.

8) Are there restaurants within walking distance? Yes, there are all types of cuisine available from casual pub fare to fine dining. Visit Restaurants in San Jose del Cabo

11) Where can I rent a car? Most major car rental companies have offices in San Jose. Inquire when you book for special rates available through our contacts, including liability insurance.

13) How far to Los Cabos from your condo? The travel time is about 20 minutes by car and 30 minutes by bus, depending on stops.

17) Does your condo have a phone? Yes, you can call free anywhere in North America via Vonage. We also have a second line for local calls only. International Long distance charges will be subtracted from your damage deposit.

18) Do you have an internet connection? Yes, you can connect via high speed to our modem.

19) Do you have a washer and dryer? Yes. Please use the high-efficiency laundry soap only.

20) Do you have a dishwasher? Yes.

21) How can I book tours? You can ask Tom about any tours in the area. He can help you book and will know which tour companies are reputable with good value.

22) Can I smoke in your condo? NO. We have a strict no smoking policy. However, you may smoke on the terraces. At the end of your stay, we will check to see if there has been any smoking infraction inside our condo. If there is the slightest hint of smoke, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT IN FULL AND WILL NEVER BE INVITED BACK.

23) Do you offer discounts for repeat bookings? We strive to take care of all of our customers and do our best to accommodate all requests. We will always maintain a first rate condo and this will be priced accordingly. Consideration for discounts are taken into account for repeat bookings and are reviewed on an individual basis. We want you to be very pleased with your stay.

24) If I’m booking a wedding can you accommodate our families? Yes, we will rent the two properties together as a package and our property manager looks after several properties. We can arrange for multiple condos for your wedding guests.
